Magi- The Kingdom of Magic is an anime series that reminds me of the Bible. Some of the names of the characters are from the Bible. Even the stories of some characters are like that of the Bible characters.

This anime series Magi - The Kingdom of Magic, is an anime you should add to your watch list if you haven’t.

There was another world before Alibaba’s world came into existence. This world is Alma Toran.

Does the name ring a bell?

The word Alma Toran came up a few times in Magi - The Kingdom of Magic anime series.

Alma Toran was where the Djinns, Althamen, and Solomon were born.

Althamen was the evil group that tried to destroy the world in season 2 of Magi - The Kingdom of Magic.

In Alma Toran, aside from humans, other life forms existed; pigs, goats, and cows. 

They weren’t normal pigs, goats, or cows like in our world, but gigantic pigs, goats, and animals.

They were all over the world. Not pigs or lions, but there were other life forms all over the world that had their different cultures and societies.

Alma Toran was a big world, and the different species never met each other. But one day, the pigs rose and decided to expand their territory and invaded the lions' land.

Due to that war broke out. It continued like this, and then the other species started theirs, throwing the world into chaos and destruction.

The higher species destroyed the weaker species. Among them was the most vulnerable of all species, humanity. Humans tried to survive in a world of chaos.

They had to take refuge underground as there were no safe places above ground.

But one day, their luck ran out. The ogres whose favorite food was humans discovered that they hid under the ground, and hunted to kill them.

As the ogres slaughtered the humans, the humans thought to themselves, “dear god, if you exist, why did you abandon us?”

Then a mass of white light descended from heaven and erased the ogres in an instant. The white light then stretched its hand and touched the humans, making them realize that the white light was their creator, Ilah.

To save the world from destruction, Ilah gave one of the species overwhelming power to rule over others and reunite the world, and that specie was humanity.

Ilah also shared part of his powers with the entire human race, which was the power of magic.

The humans swore to use the power Ilah gave them to rebuild Alma Toran. The humans ended up rebuilding the world.

After 800 years, the humans forgot their Noble intentions and started oppressing the other species with their magic.

They built 32 towers called Gunuds in other species' territories and put staff in each tower. They used this tower to control the minds of the other species, making them obey the human's every wish.

They had to power the staff with the magic of children called Magoi. This drained the life out of the children. Whenever a child dies, they replace the child with another.

The mastermind behind all this was David, the king of Alma Toran. At that time, David was the strongest magician in the world.

David had a son named Solomon. David introduced Solomon to his evil ideas of sacrificing children and taking control of the animal kingdom.

But Solomon never liked the idea of using people, especially children as sacrifices. He wondered why everyone can’t be equal. 

Why can’t people live in harmony with other species?

But he was still a child back then so he couldn’t oppose his father. When he grew older, he left home and decided to save the children used against their will and fight against his father, David.

How does he intend to do that?
